A big thank you to the referees and table officials who made the day the success it was and meeting all the challenges that go along with running an unusual event like the Hampshire Games. It was particularly good to have several novice table officials and several junior referees participating also in such a big event.

Fortunately there were no serious injuries through the 99 fights which meant our fantastic St Johns medical support were not overworked; but we thank them for attending and dealing with the small injuries they did help us with.

A big thank you to the amazing Sport Hampshire & Isle of Wight staff and volunteers for helping our event and for putting on such a great overall event for the young people in the county. We hope to help next year and support a 2013 event.

Lastly this report would not be complete without thanking the participants and the club coaches, volunteers and parents! Not only at this main event, but also at the local area events held as eligibility events. The positivity and understanding that this project is about growing grassroots Judo and giving the children positive experiences in sport has been fantastic, THANK YOU!

Any and all feedback is welcomed and really valuable to making improvements for next years event. The feedback from last year helped shape this years event so please do take a moment to email lw@judocoach.com with you positive and negative feedback, (solutions are preferred to problems).
