The championships is about half way through and although leaders Priory Judo Club have a substantial points lead, all the other clubs are working hard to catch them.
Second, third and fourth places are separated by 1.5 points; so Holbrook, Southampton University and Team Solent are all hoping to get those extra points to put them ahead of the rest.
Although the top places may be unattainable to new teams, it is not too late to put a team into the mix. All you need are 5 adult male kyu grades (-66, -73, -81, -90 and +90) and any female kyu grades you have. If even that is a challenge you can pair up with other clubs to put in a combined team.
The events are relaxed and quick (2pm-6pm only).
This month as it is the final event of the year; we are having a social gathering at the Jurys Inn Hotel across the road from the venue; so please do come along and enjoy some good Judo company.
As usual Southampton Solent University are providing free parking at the University (via the Eat Park terrace entrance).
