Hampshire Open Postponed JUDOFEST 2013 on instead

Hi All.

Apologies but due to the lack of availability of volunteers and officials the Hampshire Open is going to be postponed until later in the year. Our new experienced Competitions Co-ordinator Paul Sexton is now handling this and will be working on it along with the SN and Masters competitions coming up in November.

As we already have the Mountbatten on the 21st of July we have decided to make use of the day by having JUDOFEST 2013 with Coaches and committee members running sessions for all things Judo – New rules & refereeing, officials, dynamic kata, Area training and Fun Judo and grading.

It is open to Juniors 8 yrs+ and Seniors and will have groups split between Juniors and Seniors.(Youths can choose which they prefer to join) each group will then get moved around the mats to take part in each session. If we have time we will add a randori session at the end.
It is open to players and coaches as coaching hints will also be given in the sessions too. Any parents that may like to try Timekeeping are also welcome to attend.(It gives you something to do at the competitions 🙂

Please could you advertise this to your club members using the poster attached.
